Armchair 366 designed by J.Chierowski (steel tubes)

Armchair type 366, or the iconic “Chierek” is a design by Józef Chierowski and one of the icons of the Polish modernist design of the mid-twentieth century. Armchairs of this type were produced mainly in the factory in Świebodzice for over 20 years, starting from 1962.

Furniture, although simple in construction, is neat, light and still modern. The armchair presented here is absolutely unique. It is the only original No. 366 steel tubular armchair we have ever purchased and one of only three we have come across.

The steel tubes have been cleaned of old coatings and powder coated black, and the armrests have been dyed and finished with hard oil-wax. After replacing the interior, the seat has been finished with high-quality abrasion-resistant material.

For every piece of furniture you buy we plant a tree.
