Armchair of the “Meblostyl” Cooperative from Czersk

This armchair was love at first sight! It was made in 1965(?) in Czersk Artistic Industry Cooperative “Meblostyl”. The seller had two copies. We managed to buy one, which does not have a label, but a photo of the one that survived on the other armchair is presented here.

Surprisingly, the construction of the piece of furniture which we cleaned and protected with hard wax was most probably made of fruit tree wood, which is indicated by the rich grain pattern. The seat is finished with Kvadrat fabric (https://www.kvadrat.dk/).
