Desk designed for ŁAD Cooperative

The desk of the ŁAD Cooperative (a label on the underside of the top) was probably created in the 1960s or 1970s. We were unable to confirm the identity of the designer, but some indicate that it could have been Izabela Sternińska. This is the only one we know of an existing copy of this furniture.

The desk was made of solid birch wood (construction), and the top is a blockboard covered with birch veneer. We have cleaned the furniture of varnish, polished it and finished with a hard oil wax.
