German coffee table

This German (GDR to be precise) fold-out coffee table from the sixties of the last century consists of two countertops that can be positioned freely relative to the axis connecting them.

This piece of furniture has undergone a full carpentry renovation and at the moment it can boast of dark-coloured beech legs and tops covered with striped mahogany veneer. The top and legs have been secured with an oil-wax with increased hardness. Edges of the countertops are finished with sheet metal which, during the last several decades of career, has survived many hits, but after we’ve refreshed them look almost like new ones.

For every piece of furniture you buy we plant a tree. Find out more.
