Occasional table for ŁAD Cooperative designed by F. Aplewicz
This table was designed by Franciszek Aplewicz for the ŁAD Cooperative, probably in the early 1960s. The offered copy was made personally by the designer, who was also a carpenter, for his home. The table top is made of glued birch and ash wood, which allowed for a two-color effect. The legs and the shelf are birch.
This copy was probably a prototype, because the version of this furniture known to us, which was available in the Cooperative’s store, had a veneered top.
After cleaning, we finished the furniture with satin hard oil-wax.
