Armchair 300-139 „Stefan”
Armchair type 300-139, or the popular “Stefan” was manufactured by Swarzędzka Furniture Factory in the 1960s. The armchair is very reminiscent of Scandinavian and American furniture in the mid-century modern style. In our opinion, this is one of the most elegant furniture designs that were created in our country. No wonder that for years it was an export hit. IKEA placed it in its catalog next to two years in a row – in 1964 under the name “Jarl” and in 1965 under the name “Stefan”.
The piece of furniture we offer is unique. The piece of furniture presented here is unique. Most of these armchairs were dyed in a dark color. We managed to find a bright one! Our armchair was made of uncolored beech wood, which after restoration and finishing with hard wax oil took on a honey shade. We finished the new cushions with high quality material resistant to dirt and abrasion. What is important, the upholstery can be removed for cleaning.
