Chair of the ŁAD Cooperative designed by T. Kruszewska
This set is an absolute uniqueness. We originally identified this chair as a design by Olgierd Szlekys based on Irena Huml’s book “Olgierd Szlekys and interior art” (the last photo contains a photo from the above-mentioned study). After consultations with the National Museum in Warsaw, it turned out that this piece of furniture was designed by Teresa Kruszewska.
Chairs, despite their age and delicate construction, have been preserved in a very good condition. We have completed their full carpentry renovation. We removed the metal flat bars, which were used by someone to strengthen the delicate structure of the chairs, patched the cavities, removed the old varnish, and after grinding we finished the chairs with oil-wax, so we restored their construction to the former glory.
The seats are filled with a coconut mat and finished with a soft high quality fabric with the addition of cotton.
The price is for one chair.
For every piece of furniture you buy we plant a tree. Find out more.
